Reunion in italy

In March 2024, we welcomed a couple of guests from Italy. They are friends of my daughter's friend and we enjoyed the meal and tea gathering. We enjoyed talking about where they had been in Japan and what they were going to do during the rest of their stay and so on. We also enjoyed talking about differences and similarities between Italy and Japan. They enjoyed their meal and I was surprised that they were really good at using chopsticks. (we also provided forks!)

Only 2 weeks later, I traveled to Italy to visit my daughter. They said they would love to see us, and drove an hour and a half after work to see us. We had some delicious pizza together. They recommended an Italian beer, but the restaurant only had German beer, so we laughed and toasted with it.

It was the first time for me that I visited my guests in their country after we enjoyed the tea ceremony in Japan. It was a very, very happy and moving event. It was one of the highlights of my trip.
